DJing is all fun and games around here, but it’s also a lifestyle choice that owner & founder DJ Ray has lived, breathed and worked on mastering almost his entire life.
Ray was first introduced to the world of DJing by a close high school friend at the age of 16. And that was it. He was hook line and sinker, absolutely infatuated and addicted to DJing. It’s fair to say it’s taken over his entire life since!
From DJing private events in the late 80s to being the resident DJ in bars and nightclubs throughout the 90s. Naturally, starting his own DJ company was the only obvious choice - the next evolutionary step.
And not just an average DJ company either. Ray connects amazingly talented Auckland DJs with Aucklanders looking for a higher standard of entertainment. “Anyone can press buttons, turn up a volume switch, and even plug in a few lights. But it takes desire, vision and passion to really wow the crowd, to really entertain, to really touch lives through music.”
DJ Ray has a saying, “we don’t do average - save that for the other guys”.
Fate has definitely smiled long and hard on the talented Ray and his passionate team of DJs spreading the love and good vibes across Auckland and afar with more than 2000 weddings and other events over the past 35 years.
Widely considered to be one of New Zealand’s most prestigious wedding DJs & MCs, DJ Ray is a crowd favourite at most wedding shows in Auckland.
